The Quixote Project

ROOTS/ ROCK/ ROCKABILLY

This week’s featured podcast is with The Quixote Project from New Jersey. This group of musicians came together around singer/songwriter Jeff Selby, who uses the label “project” to illustrate how their music, with a lot of moving parts, has evolved since its inception. Three of the songs on the podcast are from their latest album, Busy Being Born. Learn about their influences, how they write their songs, and find out where you can see them live next! Cold Roses

Rock / Blues / Americana

Cold Roses is a group that is going through a little bit of a transition with some of the band members but the backbone of the band remains intact and that would be songwriter, Robert Clancy (lead vocals, guitars) and Brandon Porter (bass, vocals). Other members, Alex Ayala (keyboards) and RM Webb (drums), maybe new to Cold Roses but are settling in nicely and adding to their gritty country/blues rock sound. It’s a fun band to listen to and they will definitely keep your toes tappin.  Check out the podcast and let us know what you think of it and the site in general.

The Silent Signals

Rock/Electronic

The Silent Signals have a new album out called, “An Emotion Picture”. We hung out with Michael Greto, singer and guitarist for The Silent Signals, talking about the album and the band. Michael along with Chris Miller, who plays keyboard, are the driving force behind The Silent Signals and their music, which has a late 70′s progressive rock influence along with an Indie Rock sound.
